Who are BARE International
In 1999 BARE Associates International expanded based upon the addition of an overseas office in Antwerp, Belgium. Since then, BARE has grown exponentially in the global marketplace. Now, in addition to the Antwerp, Belgium office, BARE has offices in cities around the world including: Mumbai, India; Shanghai, China and Sao Paulo, Brazil. What is mystery shopping
Mystery shopping or Mystery Consumer research is a tool used by BARE International and other companies to measure quality of retail service or gather specific information about products and services. Mystery shoppers posing as normal customers perform specific tasks—such as purchasing a product, asking questions, following specific scenarios or behaving in a certain way – and then provide detailed reports or feedback about their experiences.
Mystery shopping began in the 1940s as a way to measure employee integrity but these days varies from interior outlook and price audits. Tools used for mystery shopping assessments range from simple questionnaires to complete audio and video recordings. BARE International is completely administered through the Internet, allowing potential mystery shoppers to use the Internet to register for participation, find mystery shopping jobs and receive payment.
The most common venues where mystery shopping is used are retail stores, calls & e-mails, restaurants, fast food chains, banks, car dealerships, apartments and health clubs ect.
BARE requirements
1. Reliability - This is our most prized quality. If you are reliable you will be noticed and you will receive more work!2. Eye for detail - You will be required to spot and look for lots of small details. Every detail is important.
3. Trust - Report what you see, if you do not remember something go back. Remember a false report could spell bad news for you and the client.
4. Anonymous - We will not ask you to reveal yourself as a mystery shopper. It is vital that you act as a normal customer would and not take any notes during your assessment.
5. English Language and your local language- You will need to interact with staff in stores, and write detailed comments in your reports, so you need to have a good command of both spoken and written English language.
