Under the strong direction of Kevin Finnan and Louise Richards, we create and deliver an extraordinary range of dance performances, acclaimed for striking use of imagery, theatricality and immediate impact.
In addition to our extensive touring we are constantly experimenting with the performance environment and creating dance in unusual contexts - for parks, beaches, shopping centres and stately homes alongside more traditional venues. From full length touring works to shorter festival performances, to large scale dance spectacles, Motionhouse dancers perform alongside aerialists, cranes, JCB diggers and singers, on stunning sets, in breathtaking places and in the public eye.
A wide ranging education and participatory programme complements and enhances the performance work.
