Approximately 60,000 people in the UK apply for Incapacity Benefit or have to attend a medical examination after applying every month. The application process is daunting, complicated and has countless hidden pitfalls. This puts the very applicants who most need and deserve the benefit at a serious disadvantage because so many of these are in an already vulnerable position due to the physical, mental or emotional conditions that are prompting them to apply for the benefit in the first place.
UK IBC Ltd offers a completely individual and personalized service to help with the entire application process, from the completion of the application form to offering help and advice on how a genuine applicant will stand the best possible chance at a medical examination. We “hold the applicant’s hand” throughout the whole process, utilizing the services of doctors who have previously worked for within the official system which processes all applications for Incapacity Benefit. This means our clients’ applications are worked on by people who know exactly how the system works and how every application would and will be scored by the official channels.
We charge a really modest fee for this service bearing in mind that those who are most likely to utilize our services are not in the best possible financial position. However, if the applicant fails to have their claim approved we refund their money provided they have followed our advice.
UK IBC Ltd was born out of a real need for a consultancy that helps and guides people through the daunting process of applying for Incapacity and other Benefits.
The doctors we now use to optimize your application were all previously working "within the system" so have a unique insight of how the application process is administered, as well as how the applicants feel while they go through it.
We all felt that it was so often not the most deserving applicants who received Incapacity Benefit, but the ones who had the most (and right) help with their application.
In fact we feel that often the very people who are most deserving get a raw deal because their illness may prevent them from presenting their case in the best possible way.
There are various resources and websites which offer general advice on the subject matter, some for a fee, some free, but there are two key factors which make us unique: (please also see our "The ethical aspect" page on that matter)
1) We use ONLY doctors who have worked for the company employed by the government to process applications and conduct the medical examination. Between them they have about 30 years experience looking at Incapacity Benefit applications and applicants
2) We offer a completely individual service, any advice given to the applicant is given by a doctor who knows the system inside and out and is based on the exact personal circumstances of that applicant.
As our doctors know exactly how the government employed doctors will score each and every application they can give highly specific advice which is taylored to the exact individual circumstances of each applicant.
