Our Client is currently looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer.
The Multi-skilled Engineer would carry out the following duties:
Undertake routine PPM tasks for mechanical/Electrical systems & undertake reactive maintenance on mechanical and Electrical
Carry out plumbing repairs including installation as required
Weekly Fire Alarm testing & recording
Carry out statutory compliance checks including the control ACOPS L8 (Legionella)
Provide support to other functions of the F&M department when required
To carry out tool box training to members of staff as required
To undertake Escort duties of Sub-contractors where required
To attend site meetings or training when required
Responsible for the procurement, provision and stock control of M&E supplies
Be available to carry out necessary works outside normal hours
Minor Carpentry works
To record, log and update work orders via CAFM
Deputise for the Maintenance Manager in their absence
Fire Marshall duties
To be a key holder of the building and attend out of hours emergency, call outs on a rota system
Assist in the day to day management of M&E contracts
Assist in the creation and production of M&E procedures, systems and protocols
Operation of all BMS systems
Knowledge & Experience:
Technical knowledge of building systems - plant (inc HVAC), electrical, gas, water etc.
Knowledge of Health and safety and fire regulations
Knowledge and experience of M&E services in an office environment
Knowledge and experience of security and facilities procedures
Ability to manage minor projects with minimum supervision
Confident user of Microsoft office
Qualifications:
C&G NVQ Building Services Mechanical Engineering
City & Guilds 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (DESIRABLE)
Experience of working in a mixed use building
Health & Safety qualification
Good interpersonal and management skills
