360 Degrees IT Recruitment are currently seeking X2 global hub / network engineers to come on board and work for our global blue chip German based client on a permanent assignment in the Telecommunication sector.
The successful candidates will be based full time in Germany near Frankfurt for this dynamic company that offers excellent benefits and the opportunity to make a real difference. Required skills and expertise:
Knowledge in all areas mentioned below, minimum 3 of these being core competence:
o computer hardware and software
o in-depth knowledge of TCP/IP and related protocols and understanding of X.25
o operating systems (Windows and UNIX/Linux)
o SNMP, Multicast, HP Openview, SNA, UNIX or similar
o VSAT / ISBN Networking and HughesNet
o network security, firewalls and popular standards
o in-depth knowledge and understanding of major routing protocols ( BGP, OSPG, EIGRP, RIP)
o in-depth knowledge and understanding of VPN Technologies (IPSEC, L2TP, GRE, etc)
o experience with and understanding of DSL related technologies and systems.
ü Fluent English is essential, along with proficiency in German
ü CISCO CCNP and CCDP certification or preferably CCIE certification.
