To provide supervision and instruction for Emergency Department Medical Officers of Special Scale and for Resident Medical Officers rostered to the Emergency Department, ensuring they develop the necessary skills to be able to contribute to the Emergency Department’s clinical team in a positive and effective way. To promote and facilitate effective and co-operative relationships between the Emergency Department, other specialist services and General Practitioners.
