The firm has a well-developed client base and attracts a great deal of family work, and is keen to bring in an additional fee earner with a good level of experience and expertise handling both publicly funded and private cases.
As the bias is towards legal aid work, the applicant must have handled a decent amount of public law family work as well as acting for privately paying individuals.
It is important that applicants have a minimum of the equivalent to 2 pqe and above, as you will be expected to be able to run your own cases autonomously as opposed to needing much supervision on a day to day basis.
Candidates with a working knowledge of other areas such as property, probate and civil litigation are of particular interest, as the firm also handles work in these areas.
