Financial Accountant - Gibraltar.
Our client has recently moved their operations to Gibraltar. The finance department is growing and they are looking for a suitable candidate for the role of Financial Accountant.
Responsibilities:
• Accounts receivables management
• Preparation of statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP
• Assisting with the production of monthly board meeting reports as required
• Daily, weekly and monthly financial information particularly cash position and forecasts
• Managing external audit process and liaise with external auditors
• Dealing with queries, requests and other ad hoc projects
Professional profile:
• Degree in accounting or currently undertaking professional qualification
• 0-4 years accounting experience; preferably in the online-sector
• Experience in inter-company reconciliations
• Basic knowledge of tax law in Gibraltar / UK
• Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications, ideally SAGE line 200
• Strong PC skills (especially in Excel)
