Our Client, one of the fastest growing software CRM Global Organisations are expanding their team to include a Sales Engineer who will be responsible for designing solutions that will resolve a customer's business issues, whilst evoking confidence in our Client’s products & platform and removing all technical objections in the sales cycle. You will have a strong understanding of how our Client’s technology can resolve business issues in the cross vertical sectors and possess a consultative sales approach and understand the importance of team work.
Responsibilities:
You must have a proven track record in the development and delivery of differentiated custom solutions and presentations, including advanced technical concepts, to key decision makers to address their functional business issues and needs.
Deliver, in an effective and timely manner, on RFI / RFPs.
Orchestrate a technical sales cycle which requires involvement of multiple resources and you will be able to construct and deliver differentiated business cases and assist in the development of ROI/TCO studies.
Design a winning CRM or similar web services solution to enable client's business initiatives to be realised.
Fully understand and clearly articulate the benefits of our Client' to all levels including line of business managers and "C" level executives.
Present compelling solutions in competitive and complex sales cycles.
Proactively support relationships with customers and partners.
Participate in all appropriate product, sales and procedural training and certification to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in the position.
Display initiative, self motivation and deliver high quality work while at the same time, meeting all deadlines for both internal and external customers.
Extensive experience in a comparable pre-sales position supporting the sales cycle in CRM, ERP and Ecommerce applications.
Willing and able to travel domestically & occasionally internationally.
Required Skills/Experience:
B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent work experience.
Previous experience as a sales engineer for a CRM company or similar technology.
You will be required to have a broad understanding of SFA, Service & Support and Mobile solutions.
Experience in BI; Oracle, Siebel, SAP, Amdocs, Goldmine or Sales logix, CRM6, Peoplesoft CRM etc.
Proficiency in:
Business Analysis and Business Case/ROI construction. High availability architectures.
Platform and application design. Database management experience.
Java, J2EE or other development environments (e.g. .Net). Portal and integration technologies.
Internet Security. Web Development skills (HTML, JavaScript etc.).
Strong verbal and written communications skills with a focus on needs analysis, positioning, business justification and closing techniques. Superior presentation skills.
