Job Overview: Working for a fast growing, fast-paced and dynamic company developing Windows exploration, development and reservoir software for the oil and gas industry, to work in their Training Team, providing technical training and mentoring to their client base across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Applicants are invited with excellent client facing experience in application support, training or/and pre/post-sales in geoscience related technologies. Full training will be provided in the Company’s technologies, workflows and practices. For nearly the last two decades, the Company has provided the upstream exploration and production industry with easy to use, highly integrated, cost-effective software solutions...first in the market to develop geoscience interpretation tools for the Microsoft Windows environment… in excess of 3000 global software sales…to prestigious major oil companies in 100 countries…The Company is now part of a major matrix organisation with over 5000 employees…Candidate requirements: Degree in Geophysics or Geology…Some work experience within the Oil and Gas industry…Excellent client facing skills e.g. providing geoscience application support, geoscience training, or/and pre or post-sales support…The confidence and ability to take on a training role and to be successful…This is an ideal role for an individual with excellent client facing skills and who enjoys imparting knowledge to oil Company geoscientist. The role offers the opportunity to gain detailed technical knowledge and experience using a fully integrated geoscience application and to travel widely within the region. The role offers great scope for an ambitious individual, looking for career progression within a well-established and highly regarded geoscience software Company.
