Job Overview: A leading provider of specialist gravity and magnetic geophysics services to oil exploration companies worldwide seeks a Processing Geophysicist to join their expanding Cambridge based Processing Team to process conventional gravity and magnetic data and gradiometry data... Applicants are invited with at processing experience of gravity, magnetic, gradiometry, EM, and/or seismic data. Full training support will be provided in the Company’s processing techniques and software used. The Company has been highly successful in demonstrating that significant geological information can be gleaned from gravity gradiometry, gravity and magnetic data in both frontier and mature exploration areas. The Company has earned a reputation for high quality data processing in the oil and gas market. As the recognition for gravity gradiometry data in highlighting geological prospectivity increases, so also does the request for the Company’s processing services. You will be supported and mentored by senior processors in the team. Requirements: Earth science (preferably geophysics) degree and a minimum of 3 years experience in a geophysical processing role essential. Experience using industry standard processing software essential. Geosoft’s Oasis Montaj software experience highly advantageous.
