Package: Dependent on skills and experience the Company are offering a Base Salary of £45K-£55K plus Field Allowance whilst travelling, resulting in an annual expected salary of £50K - £60K. In addition, a per diem cost of living allowance is provided whilst travelling, plus a 5% Bonus scheme along with other attractive company benefits.
Job Overview: Working for a recognised leading provider of specialist services in gravity and magnetic geophysics to oil exploration companies worldwide you will ensure aircraft and vessel instrumentation are fully functional with a systematic quality assurance process in place for maintenance and support. Applicants are invited with strong background in maintaining aircraft and vessel instruments. The Company offers a full range of services surrounding potential field geophysics to exploration companies. Their services and products range from airborne and marine surveys, data acquisition, processing, and integrated interpretation projects, including related software…has developed pioneering airborne acquisition techniques …With experience in repairing, calibrating and/or maintaining electronic instrumentation, your primary responsibility will be to ensure aircraft and vessel instrumentation is fully functional with a systematic quality assurance process in place for maintenance and support. You will work mainly from the UK office, and be expected to have approximately 10 visits to field crews in the year, which would mean 10-20 weeks per year in the field. Field pay and field allowances apply when in the field. In addition, you will undertake site visits for prospective surveys.
