Job Overview: A leading global oil services Company, offering a broad range of services such as seismic data acquisition, processing, reservoir analysis/interpretation and multi-client library datasets, seeks a range of Reservoir Geophysicists for their expanding Reservoir Characterisation Group. Great career potential as this group and Company is rapidly expanding and there is immense opportunity to develop your technical skills. The Company’s highly established and reputable Reservoir Services includes geological, geophysical, reservoir engineering and petroleum economics teams. These teams deliver regional scale 3D interpretations, detailed integrated studies, prospectivity studies, asset evaluations and license round support to oil company clients worldwide. Building upon the success of their service offerings, the Company is now seeking a range of personnel from junior level to project/senior level specialists. Preferences: Degree in geology, geophysics or other geoscience subject…Multiple positions from junior to senior level required, so a minimum of 1 years’ oil and gas industry work experience…Some experience in geophysical processing geophysical interpretation, rock physics AND/OR some experience in AVO and seismic inversion techniques…Good understanding of the seismic inversion (post/pre-stack) workflow from data loading/QC to litho/fluid prediction through seismic data pre-conditioning and seismic inversion…Good understanding of borehole seismic, wireline log interpretation, forward modelling, fluid substitution and seismic data pre-conditioning for reservoir characterisation.
