HR Officer

Recruitment - Drafting the adverts, advertising the jobs, liasing with all recruitment sources, circulating the adverts, writing the invites, retrieving appointment committee papers, sending the rejects, induction packs, reference letters etc. - Applying for the work permits, filling up the visa application forms. - To assist in the maintenance of the personnel database eg. Inputting the new starters on CHRIS (HRIS), generating leavers report, generating other reports as may reasonably be required. - To assist in the drafting and preparation of correspondence, including contract letters, changes to contracts, resignation letters, memos to the other Departments, etc. - To carry out CRB checks for the employees. Training and Development - Preparing the induction and appraisal documentation. - Maintaining the process for in-house training courses and maintain records• Employee relations - Taking minutes for disciplinary meetings. Projects Undertaking specific projects under the direction of the Principal HR Officer and Reward officer – Harmonisation of terms and conditions (job evaluation), personal emergency evacuation plans for disabled people, cycle to work project.
